I just received my copy of the now-legendary Reunion DVD from my sister in Manila, and I must say it brought back memories from 40 years ago as if they happened yesterday.

My congratulations to the production crew for a superior piece of work.

To those of you who haven't gotten your copy of the DVD, I strongly urge you to get one before they're all gone!

I've started saving for my airfare for our Golden Reunion in 2014!

Sal:

It works and its great!  It apparently does not include the Saturday night at Taft?  Is that in a separate video?

Mon Faustman / Sal Estrada

Re your query about some footage during the March 6 La Salle  homecoming at the Taft campus, I want you to watch the DVD again because the interviews that were conducted Sat, March 6 were incorporated in the first part of the DVD.

Though I watched it almost two months ago, I distinctly remember the interviews of the following : 1.Mon Faustman / Charlie Oglou joint interview; 2. Jimmy Eusebio; 3. Sisinio Flores Jr. ; 4. Johnny Yang; 5. Ting Vallejo; 6. Toti Ledesma; 7. Tony Tibajia; 8. Joseph Tan. Please let me know if there was anyone else interviewed March 6 and was not included in the DVD.

I didn’t get to watch the raw footage or unedited version of the interviews

Furthermore, I am sure there was some footage of the activities of March 6 including the “Saksi” AVP that was shown in Taft where HS 64 was introduced to the whole La Sallian community. This was a 10 minute AVP.

Thanks and regards to everybody.

Binky,

Got it last night. I brought my portable DVD player at work and I'm watching it in the lull time here. How come your picture didn't scroll in the audio-visual presentation?  This is one awesome gift from you. I'm indebted forever.  Thanks.

Al

Subject: [dls_hs_64] DVD of the reunion in Australia

Ike and all the rest of my classmates,

Thanks for securing copies of the HS64 reunion. I got the two sets of DVD's you sent two days ago.  Charlie Oglou already got his sent through his parents.  I will burn a copy of Sandy Bril and possibly one more for Charlie who found some defective segments in his copy.  I gave Ting Vallejo his copy yesterday together with the copy of the DLS Alumni magazine which featured the two Raffy's (Esteva and Villareal) and Tonichi Alvarez who was a classmate of mine in College.

Ting is out of the hospital and out of danger.  For all those who don't know it yet, Ting had a heart attack about 4 weeks ago and had to undergo a triple by-pass.  A de-fibrillator was also implanted and he is now recovering very well at home.  It was not the fun and excitement of the reunion but smoking which partially caused it.

The DVD presentation and content were masterfully and professionally done.  Kudos to Ray Guzman and all those who contributed to its making.

I have already watched it twice and really regret having missed out on the reunion.  I am sure others who also did not attend will be encouraged to attend the next one once they view this DVD. I even shed a tear or two remembering those days and some of the guys who have gone to their happy hunting grounds.

Thanks again and best personal regards,

Tito
